It’s really unclear why the recent reviews are so horrid. Really people? Firstly the food is rock solid. Sure there’s some stuff on the menu that’s a stretch for some folks but you’ll get that anywhere. The pizza and subs are reliable, the chicken never fails, and the wings always hit the mark. Secondly it caters to the specific desires of every craft beer nut out there. While not my speed personally I have witnessed enough pretentious debates over which four pack from a LOCAL business should be chosen—and those folks come from far off. I know one person that makes the hour drive just for the beer. Most of all the owner is extremely busy but always does his best to do right by the customer. In the past ten years I’ve watched this business flourish and become a staple of the community. Expanding the drink selection, broadening the kitchen, and adding a full on tavern too. Net net: Definitely worth the try or becoming hooked on for a weekly family takeaway.

South Carolina seasoning brought to New Hampshire. I was born & raised in New England, joined the military & spent a few years living in SC, VA & CA. Since returning to NH one of my biggest complaints is that no one seasons food the way they do in the south. Today I ordered from East Derry General Store. The Cajun chicken tenders were exactly what I've been looking for since returning to New England. The honey biscuits were also great.

We finally got to try the roast beef sandwiches tonight that EVERYONES been raving about. I had made two other attempts prior but they were sold out both times.. And now I understand why… they’re delicious! The sandwich is stacked high with tender FRESH beef cooked to perfection and the BBQ sauce was also amazing!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stopped in last night to grab a few things and hubby decided he was hungry. Tried their new Roast Beef 3 way and it was Gooood! I grew up on the North Shore and love my roast beef. This was a very good sandwich. Roast beef was super tender and sauce was pretty spot on with the right amount of zest. I loved the way they package it to go too. Instead of fighting the messy white wrapper paper you get a nice container that holds that extra sauce you can dip your RB into. Hubby and I both agree we were impressed. A very good sandwich! On top of that the owners , the Patels and their staff are a wonderful family and always so nice and welcoming. Love our neighborhood store.

Have had pizza, chicken fingers, hamburgers and steak wrap/subs here. I’m not thrilled with the fries but everything else has been great! Well cooked, great portions. Will definitely be returning!

I stopped by this General Country store in Derry NH today to get me and my mom some lunch, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered two chicken sandwiches with fries, and honestly, it blew me away. The grilled chicken was juicy and flavorful, perfectly paired with a slice of crispy fried cheese, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomato, all stacked on some seriously awesome bread. Every bite was absolutely delicious! The fries were hot, crispy, and the perfect sidekick. Great Chicken Sandwich!!!I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving something homemade and delicious.

My fiancé stopped in for the roast beef, got a large sub and another roast beef sandwich to go and wow, even after driving back home they were piping hot and not mushy like you might expect ! I’m not a huge roast beef fan but these were by far better than I’ve ever had in the past. Portion size was huge too. 10/10 will be stopping in to check out the rest of the menu soon 🙂

I’ve never had a bad experience here (the chicken strips are great). Today I finally decided to try the roast beef sandwich, and all I can say is wow. So good. Will definitely be ordering again.

So I gotta be honest. I'm seeing a lot of review bombs being thrown at this place. I'm not exactly sure why? I went in for the Krispy Krunchy chicken, which if you've never had is amazing! They even offer to make it fresh if you don't feel like eating the hot and ready version. The ready to go was still steaming so I had no qualms grabbing some. Gigantic juicy morsals of flavor that just go amazing with the light fluffy biscuit, with just the right amount of honey! Do you like seafood? Because they also make Krispy Krunchy shrimp! Oh man do they hit, just be careful because the tails are on. You can easily see it, but if you are hangry, you could miss it as you stuff a handful into your mouth hole. Excellent beer and cigar collection. Clean, friendly polite service. All in all, maybe they just had a great day. But again, I can't understand all the one star reviews based on my experience. I will be back without a second guess. Give this place a try if you're in the area and want some bomb chicken!

So we have always loved the east Derry general store for drinks and imported candy and recently we tried the chicken which was amazing but tonight we tried the super beef and steak and cheese. They are amazing! Always friendly service and the food is super good and really great prices. Absolutely give them a try. Update: we went back and it’s just as good! Always friendly and always such a great candy selection.
